Digital Art and Animation
Game Coding with Python™ or Scratch
Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math activities for students from grade 2 to grade 6. Students will be given a choice of STEM/STEAM activities to suit their interests and skill levels. Robotics, Game Coding, Digital Art, Animation, 3D printing, and Bridge-Building and structures activities will alternate throughout the camp with each activity taking approx 1 hour.
Each day will feature a selection of the following:
Designing and printing a 3D object, during the "3D printing & CAD design" session.
The creation of a different game, during the "Game Coding with Code Blocks" session- Grade 6-10 students have the option of game coding in Python.
Engineering a bridge, tower, scissor lift during "K'nex Structures" session.
Build & program a different Robot, during the "Robotics for Kids" session. Grade 6-10.
Collaborate on a Local area Network to build an awesome city, in a Minecraft™ like environment.
The "Paint or Animate session" introduces kids to free and open source software they can use to create their own works of art.
